It was Sirena's first week here in Cody, Wyoming. A small town but beautiful at the same time. She wasn't quite sure how this was going to go as she just moved here. Her inner demons were just about gone and she was going to make a name for herself here. It could be through her music or just her bright personality, Rena was positive that she was going to be more true to herself. She was generally a sweet person, but she did have a knack for making a huge impression at school. It was usually with her bright red hair and super star singing voice. She usually had a pretty bad reputation. Well, not bad necessarily but more of the fact as being unpleasant. Rena liked to party, drink, and just have a great time. Hopefully she could do that here in Cody but without all the reprocussions. Rena was a little timid on her first day here but she kept having to reassure herself that no one knew her. It was a new day and a new start in a new town in a new state! So many new experiences here that haven't even started for her yet. Sirena took a deep breath and walked toward the school.
Rena made her way into the main office to pick up her schedule. Thankfully, it wasn't quite the middle of the year yet here in this new town. It was still autumn and kids were finally getting back into the swing of things after a summer away from learning. Sirena was apprehensive about her classes since her ADHD kept her quite jittery at times. You couldn't tell though, she was discrete about it. Her big give away would be doodling on her paper, twirling her hair, or staring out the window with a vague expression on her face. Rena looked down at her schedule and saw that she only had one below average class - math. She smiled to herself, she finally felt smart for once. Back home in California, she was in all the lower classes with kids who couldn't have given a damn about learning. You see, despite her reputation for being a party girl, Rena didn't mind school. She only hated not being able to concentrate, making her grades suffer and wanting to numb her inner demons from the alcohol and drugs she consumed. Now, it's all behind her and she was ready to start her sophomore year in high school.
Sirena made it all the way through her classes of the morning and now it was time for lunch block. Most of the kids there stared at her - immediately looking at her bright red hair. She didn't mind, she looked back up at them and smiled briskly and kept walking. Rena figured that someone would notice that she was new here and would say something to her. It was a pretty small school and it gave her the impression that everyone knew everyone. A nice girl in one of her study halls told her about the courtyard and Rena decided that she would eat lunch there. The cafeteria seemed too overwhelming for her right now and plus she wasn't too hungry. She had a huge breakfast made of eggs, bacon, toast, and a huge glass of OJ - her coffee in the morning. Caffiene = no good for little red over here. Rena made her way toward the court yard as she wandered around a little bit. Her bright red ponytail swinging slightly as she walked. She saw a little bench with a table and decided to set herself down and just get a start on some homework that was due tomorrow. Sirena started humming slightly to herself and then apparently started singing softly to herself. It was a habit, she just kind of had that little quirk about her. Once she realized that she was singing she covered her hand over her mouth coyly and looked around as if she felt someone was near by.
Sirena decided to get up and go make some friends. It couldn't hurt! She knew she could do it too and be successful. Rena saw a blond haired boy in the courtyard and decided maybe she could sit next to him. He seemed friendly enough! Even though she didn't see his face ... Rena gathered her bag and made her way over to the boy. "You've got this Ree."
She thought to herself. Sirena appeared confident as if she didn't have a care in the world, but on the inside she was a bit nervous. She had never really had an experience making friends this way before. Everyone back in California that she was friends with she knew since she was in kindergarden. This was different, it was high school and well, Sirena was DEFINITELY not the loner type. "Hey, mind if I sit with you?" She said waiting for the boy to turn around and hopefully respond to her awkward request.[/blockquote][/blockquote] word count:

Why did everyone hate school so much? Reilly wasn't quite sure on this fact. Reilly Morgan O'Keefe loved school. He loved the hustle and bustle. He loved meeting new people and most of all, he really just liked pissing off his teachers, even though his parents didn't like that much. He had no problems with school. Sure he didn't get the best of grades, but he always passed somehow. The teachers in Mullingar had liked him enough so they passed him... Either that or they hated him so bad that they passed him, so that they would NEVER see him again. Either way, he always earned passing grades. Well today was a new start in America. They'd moved to a small town here in Cody, Wyoming to be with his grandmother, who was dying. He wasn't having the best time with that news... But Reilly was trying really hard to stay strong. He hadn't even seen her in the hospital yet because he wasn't sure if he could handle it.
The teachers here didn't like him and sometimes they gave him a second look when they looked at him. Of course they did. He had his twin brother, Morgan, running around that was identical to him. Morgan was quite opposite of Reilly though. Morgan was serious and focused on his school work. They both had ADHD, Tourettes, and Dyslexia, but Morgan took his medication for it so that nobody knew about any of his. Reilly didn't take any medication. He flat out refused. Finally the bell for lunch rang and Reilly sat with his freshman brother, Aedan, because he couldn't find Morgan anywhere. Morgan always easily made new friends. Reilly, Aedan, and Claire on the other hand, had a harder time. Aedan was too shy and Claire just thought herself above everybody but Morgan. So Claire was probably with Morgan. So far Reilly didn't mind the school but it was a lot smaller than he was hoping. Everybody seemed to know everybody and for him, it was just kind of odd. There wasn't as many people to meet.
The bell rang again, signifying the end of lunch and Reilly sighed. He wasn't sure if he really wanted to go to math. He was not fond of math at all so he asked if Aedan wanted to ditch with him, but of course, it was a no. Reilly was the only one man enough to ditch even though the O'Keefe parents couldn't care less if their kids didn't go to class, so long as they passed their classes. Reilly waved goodbye to Aedan and then went and sat in the courtyard, being generally hyper and annoying. He pulled his yoyo out and started messing around with that. Reilly was bored shitless and everyone around here was just sitting and studying like normal, boring ass people. Suddenly, he heard a voice and he grinned. Finally there was someone to talk to and have a conversation with. Someone to keep him entertained... Hopefully. Her red hair fascinated Reilly already sooo... She had good chances as of so far. "Sure, mate. So long as you can keep my short attention span entertained."

Sirena's first day today was pretty average. She got a lot of stares from people probably thinking where the heck she came from and if that was her natural hair color. She honestly thought of talking in a forgein accent just for kicks. It was just her, she was still a bit of a wild child but she wasn't too comfortable here yet. She went from class to class getting comfortable with the stares she was getting. Glares from the girls mostly as their boyfriends would stare at Rena. Well, who couldn't blame them? She was a pretty little thing. She pretended not to notice though, even though her ego was boosted just a little bit. Her bright red hair reminded some people of the princess Ariel. It was ironically her favorite movie of all time. She was humming it on her way to class this morning. Garnering more stares from her constant singing, it almost made Sirena feel uncomfortable. ALMOST being the keyword here. Sirena shook away those thoughts because she finally accepted being different than your average girl. Through therapy, she finally felt at home in herself. She felt that whole "hey this is me, take it or leave it" feeling now a days. Rena knew that if she cared too much of what people thought of her again, she would spiral out of control.
Sirena smiled at the Irish boy. She already liked him already due to his outgoing personality and cute smile. Rena giggled a little at him. She was always laughing and smiling now. She didn't have time to feel angry anymore. It was a waste of time. Rena still was the type of girl to just never go through life unnoticed. She believed that everyone had a chance to shine and she chose to shine all the time. Now, she did have her off days like everyone else but most of the time she just lived like she was dying. Rena used to be the type to go out and party and hook up with guys if she wanted to and didn't care who she hurt. Well, she wouldn't show it if she did feel bad. She believed if you showed your emotions, you'd get pushed around. She liked to be "hard to read."
Rena pushed her bright red ponytail over her shoulder and turned to face this boy. "I'm sure I can keep up with you mate."
She said to him with a smile, her infamous dimples prominent on her cheeks. When Rena looked at him, she felt a bit of an attraction. He had a cute smile, sexy voice, and gorgeous blond hair. His eyes were a blue green color, her favorite on a boy and they were friendly. Sirena looked at him with her chocolate brown eyes and gave him a bit of a sarcastic smile along with it. "You'll have to be entertaining to you know, I'm with you on the whole short attention span thing." Sirena said with a coy smile as she looked down for a second and then back up at him.
